DIN 934 hexagonal nuts

2025-08-06

DIN 934 hexagonal nuts are an internationally recognized standard for fasteners and hold significant importance, mainly manifested in the following aspects:

Standard Uniformity

DIN 934, as a German industrial standard, is widely used in fields such as machinery, automobiles, and electronics, ensuring the compatibility of nut specifications among different manufacturers worldwide. Its thread specifications cover the entire range from M1 to M160, meeting diverse needs ranging from tiny precision to heavy machinery.

Material and performance compatibility

This standard covers various materials such as stainless steel (like 304, 316), carbon steel, copper, etc. It ensures both strength and corrosion resistance. For instance, stainless steel is suitable for humid or corrosive environments, while copper is suitable for conductive and heat-conductive scenarios.

Accuracy and grade classification

DIN 934 classifies nuts into grades A (high precision), B (standard precision), and C (rough machining), suitable for bolts with different surface treatment processes. For example, grade A nuts are often used in precision equipment, while grade B is used in conventional industrial scenarios. ‌

Special design applications

It includes special structures such as cylindrical head hexagon and flat head hexagon, which are suitable for scenarios with limited space or where the fasteners need to be concealed. Additionally, nylon locking nuts achieve the function of preventing loosening through the built-in nylon ring, and are commonly used in high-vibration equipment.
