A T head bolt, also widely named T slot bolt or T-bolt, is a specially designed fastener built for installation into T-slotted worktables of milling machines, mold jigs, industrial fixtures and mining mechanical assemblies. As one of the most popular clamping fasteners, the T-head structure allows the bolt to slide directly inside the T groove and lock firmly without extra positioning accessories.
What Is A T Head Bolt?
Different from standard hex bolts, the T head bolt features a wide flat rectangular T-shaped head. During operation, users place the T-head into the T-slot, rotate the bolt 90 degrees, and then fix workpieces with matched nuts and washers. This convenient mounting method greatly improves clamping efficiency for mold processing and heavy-duty industrial production.
Our standard T head bolts are manufactured following DIN261 (German Standard) and GB37 (Chinese National Standard).
